My year in review
2006 was a tough year for me! I was diagnosed with untreatable cancer, my thyroid died, and my marriage has practically ended. However, thank the Lord that they were able to get all the cancer. Thus far, I am still free and clear. I changed jobs! Leaving the classroom and my college prep program position for under privileged kiddos was the hardest thing I have ever done. However, I am learning things that I need to know if I plan on becoming a Superintendent some day. I work with 12 fantastic, intelligent women. My daughter started her senior year in high school, and my son started Kindergarten. I had to take the day off to take pictures. LOL Watching Tori grow into a beautiful young woman, and watching Ian leave those toddler days behind and grow into a little man has been the highlight of my year. I hope and pray that 2007 will be a peaceful year, but with a demanding career, and two children….
